For the past 2 years since leaving London, Christina has lived at the foot of Bredon Hill, the last lonely outcrop of the Cotswold Hills in England’s West Country.  Inspired by these beautiful surroundings, she has been writing new songs which will constitute a follow-up record next year.  She has also been refining a great live set.  Whilst still performing favourites from her critically acclaimed 2006 record (including The Dishes and Do what you Gotta Do), Christina has a great new band based in the West Country.  This new focus has resulted in new songs, a couple of weird and wonderful covers, and a lot of energy and intensity.  It sounds great - come and hear for yourselves!

The band members have a ton of experience between them, as well as being great guys:

Pete Bryden plays bass and writes songs.  Pete lives on Crane Hill, just outside Cheltenham with his wife Helen, three-year-old Rosie, two border collies, a fiery Bengal cat, three free-range chickens and a few sheep. His past projects include song writing for Daniel Boone and Emperor Rosko in the 1980s, playing bass and keyboards for a number of Oxfordshire-based rock and blues outfits, and writing the music for CBeebies television series, Summerton Mill.

Ben Church plays guitar, dobro & harmonica. Ben lives with his wife and a small army of sons down a forgotten lane near Malvern. As well as playing and writing tunes with Christina, he is a founder member of ‘Deep Elem’, a roots based duo with a substantial following in the West. Ben cut his teeth in a South Wales Rockabilly band ‘The Big Combo’ backing the likes of Billy Lee Riley and then spent a year busking in Australia to hone his slide guitar playing.

Andy Hill plays drums, cahon and percussion. Andy lives a bit further afield in the wilds of Buckinghamshire, but he loves to drive! His talented playing has got him into all sorts of trouble, including time spent with Harrison and High & Dry (which included in its ranks one Pete Bryden) and projects across a range of genres.

The band is known, simply, as 'Christina Kulukundis'.
